My ferret doesn't eat meat (at all), only fruits, vegs. Is it normal for predator?

Answers:
If your ferret rely only on carbohydrate food, such as fruits and vegetables, then it's not normal at all or you mistaken ferret for a hamster.

However, if the fruits and vegetables used only as a treat, and main diet is based on kitten or boxed ferret food, then you have nothing to worry about. Ferrets, like dogs, can enjoy sweet dry fruits, honey, sugar, chocolate, ice cream, sweet carrots, etc.
That was all mine would, eat.. as long as you feed him the dry food along with the fruit and veggies he will get all the protein he needs from that
A ferret is a carnivore and needs meat to get the proper nutrition. It will not thrive on veggies and fruits. You need to feed your ferret a premium brand of dry ferret food. Improper diet can lead to nutritional deficiency and even blindness.
Sounds like you will have problems in the future. Prepare for some avoidable vet bills.
i would never feed my ferret meat dry food and fruit only
I fed cat food to mine, when I had them. fruits and veggies are for treats only. Thet cant get the protein they need from treats alone.
Make sure you are feeding a high quality ferret diet, and the fruits and veggies are treats that only make up 10% or less of his diet, or you will have major problems! Cat food is not nutritionally complete, either.
ferrets bodies were designed to process meat. They cannot digest the fiber found in fruits and vegetables. You should do some serious research and change his/her diet before you end up with a sick ferret
