My guinea pig has Bald spots on its face??

What do i do? What is it? I love pig so can anyone help please
Answers:
bald spots are often caused by fungus (like ringworm). Guinea pigs are really prone to getting it and it generally causes bald spots. Just take him to the vet and they will prescribe the appropriate anti-fungal. Depending on how bad it is, they might give him a topical or an oral prescription.

Good Luck
Take him to his vet and let him see her. He will tell you what it is.
I know that many animals get bald spots from allergic reactions- get him checked out to be sure he isn't allergic to anything that you can easily keep away from him.
you know, I sit here and read about all these experts sending everyone to the vet when the truth of the matter is just a little command sense but in this case, your pig has two issues that do need a vet and it's my experience that piggy should go. one possibility is a bad rash, may be an allergic reaction or something worse and it's called mange. it a fungal infection that spread very fast and mange is NOT very commend on guinea pigs but your vet will know for sure. You know, you don't have to take piggy to the most expensive vet in town.you can research the web and humane society and find discounts vets to look at piggy and save some money. also, how long has it's hair been falling out? if it's been awhile, that's another good sign he should go. if it just started, try to find and look what could be irritating him in the cage. hopes this helps
It is one of two thing more than likely mites or ringworm, have him checked by a vet, it will run you are 40.00 to have him seen, make sure the vet deals with exotics

It all depends on what Vet you go to, He could just have some irritation or rash on his skin so you would need to get treatment for that, He could have some sort of allergy so yet again he would need medication for that. But Vets can be expensive so if I were you I would call around and find what all there price ranges are and then go to the cheaper one.
