my gerbil's nose is bloody from him scatching it what can I put on it?

Answers:
polysporin, neosporin..any otc antibiotic ointment should help it to heal faster.unless the hamster keeps scratching it. If he continues to scratch it, take him/her to the vet..the vet will probably tell you the same thing though.antibiotic ointments. If the scratching's causing a lot of damage though, the vet can put one of those little plastic cone shaped things around his neck to allow the wound time to heal by making it impossible for the hamster to scratch it.
neosporin
Put a bandage on it! %26lt;sarcastic>

you should take him to the vet or have your mom take you if you can't drive
u should either go see the vet or talk to the vet on the phone but i think u should put neosporin on it just make sure he/ she doesn't lick it off. Hope this helps
do not put neosporin on before talking to the vet! my aunt is a vet and I have learned from her that some human things are not good for animals. and are you sure he's scratching? cus there's this one virous where the nose bleeds. hope it gets better.
Neosporin once a day should help a ton.You might want to look in on why he is sratchting though..
