my hamster had a fall he doesnt seem hurt but is anything going to go wrong?

Answers:
No honey. Your hamster will be fine as long as nothing is broken. Is he running around still? If he's not his normal self, then maybe get him checked out. How high did you drop him from? I know hamsters can survive falling heights that should be fatal to people. Remember they are lighter than us, so there is less momentum. If he eats and walks around, assume he is fine.

He'll probably be fine. My daughters hamster got out of it's cage one morning and my dad seen it running across the living room, so he caught it. On the way back to the bedroom to put it in it's cage it bit him. Before he even thought what he was doing he opened the bedroom door and just threw it in the room and shut the door. He didn't do it because he's mean to animals or anything, but we did have a laugh over it. It didn't hurt it or anything.

Hamsters don't live very long anyhow. My hamster fell a lot. He would just get stunned, then be good in a few seconds.

Just since this question is mostly answered, just keep in mind that smaller creatures tend to have better dexterity in comparison of mass. Which is why humans loose to them in terms of strength(ant) or jumping abilities(flea). The larger the creature, the larger the injury it would have if impacted with a force relative to its size. Eg, dropping a flea from one metre won't kill it. Dropping an elephant off the top of a building would.

Same reason why T-rex wouldn't have been able to knock over trees like crazy, it would have bascially ruptured all its blood vessels and muscles.

if nothing seems wrong, then he's O.K. but don't let that happen again since hamsters, with their extremely poor eyesight, WILL jump off anything w/o knowing the danger they face and can get hurt
