Well try walking her and/or get her a friend so she would not be lonely. Take her out 3 times a day and spend time with her alot if you don't want to buy another ferret 1.and get her a toy if it continues to bite tings, she probaly has a tootache and needs somtin hard to chew on like a dog needs to.
i would get a better, stronger cage for your ferret. i have 2 and we used to keep them in a pet kennel, but moved them to a strong cage and watched them if they could get out. They are clever little creatures so i would say ur cage isnt ferret-proof, go to petsmart and get another one its worth it or u will be finding poop all over the place. good luck.
Let her out more often, and never give her a treat when she is doing that. one thing you can do is hang a bell inside the cage and teach her to ring it and give her a treat, she will forget about chewing.
It seems like she wants to get out, but you can buy her something to stop the chewing habit such as a toy, or wood chewing for ferrets, ask the person at petsmart or petco. If she seems to get out I would block it till you can find a way to fix this problem. buy a new cage possibly. Good Luck with the lil fella =)
try leting her or him out for a lil and get him or her all worn out

that she or he will fall

asleep and stop. she or he is just looking for love :)
get a bigger cage that is stranger than the one you have
If it is not too expensive, get a new cage with sronger wire. If it is too expensive try to trsin her give her treats everyday she doesn't chew. When my guinea pig chews on the newspaper lining the cage i take him out for a few minutes. He hates it but it works.
She's having cage rage. Let her out to play more.
I would highly consider getting her a playmate. We had one ferret for a year before we realized that they do much better in pairs.Every web page we visited did mention this as they are social animals. It is a little more work as far as cleaning but they really give each other love and attention. The only thing the pet store warned us of is that you should not "assume" that they are going to get along. We lucked out and they love each other.
get a new cage!! if you get a playmate it will get worse they will team up to get out. they are very curious fuzzballs and will try to get out of what ever they are in. but you also need to spend lots of time with it out side of it cage this may help a bit but most likely it will not stop intil it realizes it can't get out. marshalls sells a great ferret starter cage you probably already have the stuff you need but an extra littler box is all ways a good thing to have. i keep and extra of everything(just in case). my two tried to getout fo a while but that marshalls cage is great thy tried to unlatch it after watching me do it but it was to hard for them. ne ay if you go for themarshalls cage it is also big enough for 2 if you decide to go with a friend
