My netherland dwarf rabbit has been getting quite aggressive the last week or so?

This is only when I try to pick her up and has been grunting at me and her ears go back as if she isnt happy at all. We have had her for around 4 months now and so I am used to handling her. I wondered if it were hormonal . (dont know if thats sounds stupid for a rabbit but am sure I have read something about females getting hormonal) Any answers would be grateful. Thanks
Answers:
Females do get hormonal. At 4 months old, she is hitting her teenage years. Getting her spayed is a good idea. Find a vet who has done the procedure before.
Good Luck
Your bunny may be in heat. Get her spayed as soon as possible. She will be a happier and healthier bunny. But first have the vet check that she hasn't injured herself and is not in pain or ill.
its possible, see if the american rabbit breeders assn has an online question and answer segment. I used to be a member.
It may be hormonal, but it also sounds like she may be in pain. Rabbits are very stoic and hide infections and injuries and internal problems really well until they're desperately ill, so make sure to get her to the vet just in case.
You rabbit is definitely on heat, try getting her a mate(it's the kindest thing to do)or get her spayed(how would you feel if you were also a bunny and on heat?) do the right thing and let the animal get laid
Sounds like she needs to be spayed. Rabbits don't like being picked up. It's because they are prey animals and they feel like they are in danger when you do that. How much time are you spending with her otherwise. She is probably associating you with being picked up and it is unpleasent to her.
