I have never heard of this before. It is very unusual for rats to eat eachother. Rats are very friendly towards eachother and love to live in groups, and will even take care of eachother when they are sick. I would keep your rats separated if they arent getting along, and dont breed them on purpose. Try and get them a bigger cage to see if that helps. Keep looking up information about this, as this is extreamly unusual. You could even try finding a yahoo group specifically about rat health and posting your question on there. I wish you good luck. Rats are such amazing friendly creatures!
Give them a larger cage. Rats will kill eachother until there is enough space for them to spread out a little.
why do u want to keep hooded rats in the house they're ugly and may cause diseases.give the rats a nice funeral
make sure there is only one male per cage they do not get along with other males and will eat each other. also give them some meat. canned cat food is best or dry dog food. they might be laking in nutrients. you have to be careful when it comes to hooded rats they die younger and have more health problems. If they keep dying I would try to get a rat that is all one colour.
